Effective Investigations in Nordic Civil Law Systems
Law firms and the clients they support in countries with Civil Law systems, have yet to take full advantage of the legal technology and modern investigation processes available to them.
OpenText will be conducting an interactive fireside chat, hosted by The Nordic Legal Tech Hub, where investigations’ expert Juan di Luca will share his experience and learnings to help Nordic legal teams manage modern investigations.
Join this webinar to learn about tried and tested investigations best practices.
Questions addressed will include:
How have the types of investigations and their requirements evolved over the years?
Traditionally, there has been a belief that Civil Law countries do not necessarily require eDiscovery/eDisclosure investigation techniques. What are the similarities, differences and implications for Civil Law countries?
Early Case Assessment (ECA) is an approach to understanding data earlier in litigation processes. How does ECA compare to Early Data Assessment (EDA) and why is EDA a better fit for investigations?
What are the people, processes and technologies required for modern investigations?
What new approaches are being employed to get earlier access to data to find key evidence faster?
Specific forms of investigations relevant to Civil Law countries will also be discussed, including:
Data breach response
Subject rights requests including DSARs
Data localization
