CPH – Seminar on Managing VAT through technology – Embracing technology and leveraging on all the benefits – by University of Copenhagen

FIRE – Fiscal Relations Research Group, Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen, KPMG Acor Tax and Lund University hereby invites you to the seminar on Managing VAT through technology – Embracing technology and leveraging on all the benefits, which will be held 12 March 2019 at 15:30 to 19:30 at the premises of the University of Copenhagen.

This seminar will offer an insight into the coexistence of VAT and technology by addressing what the presence of VAT technology looks like and provide a snapshot of what the future might look like in a broader perspective. The purpose is to inspire on how to manage VAT processes in a more efficient and value-adding way and how technology can help to fight tax fraud. The purpose is also to reflect on legal challenges which technology can bring about.

The seminar is held in the Nanna Berg Auditorium, room 9A.1.01, first floor. After the main entrance, walk straight down to the yellow stairs/elevator and up to first floor. The address is the Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen, Njalsgade 76, 2300 Copenhagen S. From the metro station, Islands Brygge, walk across the parking lot, and the main entrance is to the right of the smaller grey building. If you need a parking ticket, please go to the “Videncenter”, which you will pass on the left at ground level, when you walk down to the yellow area.
